The Thanksgiving Song

Because we just bought our last Thanksgiving turkey abroad...

Because I love Adam Sandler...

Because everyone here skips Thanksgiving and goes right into Christmas...

Because I really needed some American festivities.

I'm not a big fan of Adam Sandler, but I am big fan of Thanksgiving. ^_^ This won't be the first time I've missed Thanksgiving with family, but that won't make me miss hanging out at grandma's house with the folks any less. I wonder if I'll be able to find Cranberry sauce here? I don't even remember if we did anything for Thanksgiving last year, but I'm going to try this year.

Dear Brad,

You might want to try your luck at Cold Storage (especially the bigger ones like the one at 6th Avenue), NTUC Fairprice (or their more classy sister Fairprice Finest). Some of their branches may carry in specialty (to us Asians) sauces. If all else fails, it's either paying a ridiculous price for them at Culina or just make your own. =)

I do tend to find that Cold Storage and Giants usually have what I need as far as foreign (to Singapore) goods go.

I'm not sure I would like home made cranberry sauce. Half of the enjoyment is the fact that it's the same cranberry sauce I've enjoyed for years with my family back home. If it tastes different it wouldn't be the same fun Thanksgiving experience. I want the stuff out of the can. ^_^
