Like a Moth to a Flame

I know I already have like a million pictures and videos of monkeys, but I really can't help myself.

They are just the cutest friggin' things on this side of the pond.

Tell me you wouldn't get out of the car and risk a bite or two to see this.

My three year old LOVES monkeys. I have always called him Curious George because he climbs on everything. He would love living in that area!

How cute! They must be pretty tame and friendly because I seen a baby in the background (a human baby, that is) and people laying on the ground, so they must be used to having humans around.

Hi Megan, your blog is just full of fun stuff :)

Loved the video. Just wanted to point out, please don't feed the monkeys. Unfortunately, there are people who don't like monkeys (I know right!) and claim the monkeys 'attack' them for food. The more human friendly they get, the more chances they are of putting themselves in danger.

People have been borrowing cages to trap and have the monkeys killed - and usually it's because they're getting too close to people or entering their yard. Never mind that we're the ones infringing on their environment. Okay - will stop rant now.

Hey Dawn, no worries. I'd been warned by the girls at my work about feeding the monkeys. It's a good thing they did too, because I totally would have done it.

I see people doing it all the time and even have a video of a girl feeding them.

It makes sense though as to why they become aggressive. I hope people start taking the warnings more seriously.

I totally used to feed them as a kid :)

This reminds me of the monkeys my wife and I have seen in Bedok Reservoir Park and on Sentosa Island near the Underwater World.

They're a lot of fun to watch! I heard they can be mean though. Oh, and you're not supposed to feed them. I saw a sign for that in Bedok Reservoir.

But yes, I would (and have) risk monkey attack to get some good photos and/or video of them! I mean, I've never lived anywhere that has wild monkeys running around in the trees!
