McDelivery

It's days like today (i.e. days where I don't want to cook or leave my house) that I just love these guys:

McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, and many many other really delicious, but bad for you restaurants deliver right to your door.

Now I just gotta find someone to get the door for me so I don't have to get off the couch. Then I can be the ultimate lazy American.

And I don't feel bad about it one bit.

(On a side note, I'm recovering from a head cold. That's my excuse today. I'll have a new one for you tomorrow.)

oh wow, if we had that here, i think i would be sooooooo fat. i don't even eat mcdonald's that much, but if they delivered, the temptation would be too great...

Now do you tell the delivery guys to keep the change? Or do you glare at them as they fumble through their money bags looking to return you every cent? The latter habit is rather singaporean, but my fear is that they'll do something to my food the next time I order! :P

Hey Meg, just to let you know
i actually think your blog is more interesting than XiaXue's blog. FYI, Xiaxue is a professional blogger in Singapore. She earns a living from blogging

Hil, yes, I have gotten a little larger since I went off my Mickey D's strike when we came here. (I was originally on it after seeing Super Size Me, which is horrifying.) It's ok though, I walk a lot. :)

To the first anonymous comment, I let them keep the change and give them an extra buck or two. Someone gave us this advice when we first got here and we've noticed that our food arrives 15-30 minutes faster than the quote time.

And to the second comment, Thank you! That's incredibly sweet. I really appreciate the feedback!

Now that is service! I remember a while back, there was a company that went to several different restaraunts here and then delivered them to my house. But they charged almost 10.00 for the service. Needless to say, they went out of business.

I would love for KFC and Micky D's to deliver, heck, my kids would always have dinner on time! LOL
